Based on my age factor (and the fact that I took an adult one) could this mean that as I become older I will score higher on the test?

You might, or you might not. There is no way to tell. The score you got is a good one, in the above average range. But more important than your IQ score is what you do with it. I have known people with very high IQ scores who did little with their lives, and people with average scores who were very successful.

No it does not mean that at all. It means you scored 122 on this particular test. It does not mean you would do any better or worse in future, though age is a factor in the score, not only in the calculation of it, but also to what questions you can reasonably answer in a given time.

A good score in an IQ test simply means you are good at IQ tests.

I had to take an IQ test after I was in a car accident and I personally didn't see how it could even tell me what my IQ was. It was too easy. I never did ask what I got on it so I guess I could be borderline retarded. Judging just by how easy it was for me to do it I did well. Oh yeah the one I took lasted all day. I got out of physical therapy to take it.
I don't think that you IQ will raise much. It might raise a couple of points or could even drop a couple of points. I truly believe the stress of being an adult makes you stupid.

Your age will have been taken into consideration when the result was being worked out. If you took a genuine test you would know that.

yes. Okay, you did well. But those on-line tests are not the same as standard, controlled IQ test.

You should do better as you get older.

I'm sure you're smart. Do well in school. Go to college. Don't obsess about IQ tests...
