Yes, I do believe that because scripturure says so:
Jesus Casts Out Demons Matthew 8:28-32
28When He came to the other side into the country of the Gadarenes, two men who were demon-possessed met Him as they were coming out of the tombs. They were so extremely violent that no one could pass by that way.
29And they cried out, saying, "What business do we have with each other, Son of God? Have You come here to torment us before the time?"
30Now there was a herd of many swine feeding at a distance from them.
31The demons began to entreat Him, saying, "If You are going to cast us out, send us into the herd of swine."
32And He said to them, "Go!" And they came out and went into the swine, and the whole herd rushed down the steep bank into the sea and perished in the waters.
Nowadays there are still cases of demon possesion like this happening in some remote areas (in some countries) not much touched by modernization. The thing is, in the modern world demon or evil possesion is of a different kind and nature...should I say a bit subtle...to the point that it is already accepted as normal.

a few years ago I went to medjugorje (that's a place in eastern europe where the Virgin Mary has been seen by several people), and when we went to visit one of the visionaries someone outside had a possession. It was scary.
Now, bare in mind, even though I went there it was my dad's wish to bring his family. Who know if they see mary, who knows if there was a demon in that person. It sure seemed like there was. She was screaming at the top of her lungs, and then from the tip of her shoes, to the tip of her head she did like, a back bend on the ground..no hands....something out of a movie. THen my dad made me stop watching and pay attention to the message.
It freaked me out..I didn't sleep the rest of the trip.
so yes, I think you can.
although, most cases are really people with mental issues. the vatican trains priests so that they know when it's something real, or schizophrenia.

Eh..I think it's all metaphorical really. Like say you're doing really good in life, have a good outlook, are healthy, useful member of society then one day you just lose your mind, can't take care of yourself, destroy relationships around you...That sort of thing can feel like you've been possessed by a demon. And then you have to go through all this self-forgiving, rebuilding of yourself mentally and everything...Like being excorsized.

Yes, you definately can get possessed by the Devil, however, if you don't pay your bill, you will get repossessed.
