I like a real tree so we usually get it about 1 week before Christmas. However I am the queen of procrastinators so last year we put it up the day before Christmas. Luckily Santa still came! Must have been the cookies and vodka I left out!

My family usually puts up our Christmas tree the day after thanksgiving, or on the day after our meal is over.

I know this might sound weird-seeing that I bypassed an entire holiday-My tree is up already!
Its naked though-I'm going to do a themed tree this year-Ocean, sea shells, sea green glass ornaments, etc.
I still have to go buy all these decorations.

Two weeks before Christmas. I know you haven't asked when I take it down, but I'll tell you anyway.....two weeks after Christmas. It's funny, everyone wants to help put it up.....no one to help take it down!
