Well, it does depend on how big the classes are, and what styles are being taught.

At the studio I go to now, ballet is $7.00 for forty-five minutes, but that's relatively cheap. A mixture of contemporary, jazz and lyrical is for $7.00 for forty-five minutes aswell.

I know at several other studios (the more professional ones linked to famous ballet companies), they charge nearly $13 for a one hour lesson for ballet, and $50 per private one hour lesson for ballet.

Best of luck!

You could look it up in your local phonebook and see what the prices of other studios are. My dance studio charges 30 dollars per one hour class.

$48 per 1 hour class. Yes, I know that's expensive, and no it is not a private lesson.
