If your low you should probably upgrade. If that isn't an option then quit/disable useless processes.

Edit:
To upgrade you will need to purchase more RAM sticks and install them in your computer.

I'm not exactly sure what you are asking. You can free up RAM but decreasing the number of startup programs as well as turning off nonessential Windows services. You can also use a software program like FreeRAM Pro. FreeRAM Pro is a program which pushes nonessential programs from RAM to virtual RAM thus freeing up more physical memory. I have used the program and it does help. Its a free program; you can download it from http://www.yourwaresolutions.com/

If you want more specific details on anything I mentioned, just drop me an e-mail.

Physical Memory refers to the actual memory bank made of RAM chips. The term is generally used when discussing virtual memory to differentiate what is in RAM versus what has been swapped temporarily to disk

Basically Physical memory is the amount of RAM your system has...

To free this up:
- Close memory hogging programs
- Use MSCONFIG to determine what start up processes you have on your system
- Simply replace or add to the amount of RAM you have.

To find out the amount of RAM your system currently has and then amount it is able to use follow this link...

then click Scan my system.

Hope this helps :)
