i am hopefully starting a job soon in a small business in the inventory department, what would be a good program to use to keep track of all the products, it needs to be cheap but good, please help me

Microsoft Excel is the basic that you can use. You just need to learn how to use it. I taught my wife who's an auctioneer. I'm sure you can download free inventory software at download.com

DoInventory from wakefield software works for me. It works on a PC in conjunction with a PDA and is downloadable, there is a free trial version if it is what you want a small fee unlocks the full version.
