I just discovered this website. It was a little disturbing.

http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=2281289

It's hard to believe that one man can get into so much trouble. I kind of feel sorry for his shortsightedness. He's a celebrity; doesn't he know what people think of him? He's become the NBA's #1 villain, and yet it doesn't seem like he cares.

Did something bad happen to him when he was a kid? I mean, he wasn't born this way. Ron Artest is a guy who is hard to like but easy to pity. What happened?

That seems true, but it's a cynical way of putting it. All people are born like blank computers. They have the potential to become anything; they're not born with their character. Their life experiences affect who they become.

You could have the best computer in the world, and if it gets a virus, it's done. People are like that. Everyone is born with the potential to become any type of person, but sometimes only one part of them shows.

I'm not saying that people are helpless victims of their environments. D-Wade's childhood wasn't much better, but look how different he is. I'd love to see how different Ron Artest would turn out if he got a second chance.

I think Ron Artest has just been in alot of bad situations. He is trying to change his image, but I don't know why he's had a problem. He does care though. I've read multiple articles and he's mentioned that he wants to change his image in Sacramento and start a new life. He is not the only guy in the NBA who has problems so don't pass it all on him. Cheers!

He has a hot temper thats obvious, but if you really knew him I bet he's a good guy really, just made some mistakes and is now misunderstood. But I can't really pass any judgement cause all I know is what the media puts out.

I think its because he is very undisciplined. Also alot of sports players have the attitude that there is no consequenses for them no matter what they do.

For example a former nfl player had this attitude. Maurice Greene. Look where he is at now.

He might have a medical issue. Real talk. Sooner or later they might end up banding him from the NBA anyway.

He just doesnt care what you think. I think hes pretty smart, he just has a short fuse. He gets suspended and uses the media attention to promote his record label.
