The list is a mixture.

Let's start with the easy ones:
James Madison, Alexander Hamilton, John Jay -- the three authors of the "FEDERALIST Papers"!

Other Federalists:
John Adams, Charles Pinckney, Roger Sherman

Well-known ANTI-Federalists:
Patrick Henry, George Mason

As for Thomas Jefferson -- he is harder to label because he was not a proponent of the Constitution, but did not fight against its adoption... which was hardly possibly, since he was serving in FRANCE at the time!

John Hancock? Though elected to the Constitutional Convention he did not sign the document. But in fact his poor health prevented him from attending, so that doesn't settle the matter. When it came to the state ratifying convention in Massachusetts, Hancock, who was elected to preside, seemed unable to make up his mind (so I don't quite see how EITHER label applies very well). . .though eventually the Federalists one his support, and with it a critical blocks of votes needed to pass it.

Federalists were led first by George Washington then John Adams. Adams was somewhat abusive and there developed an anti-federalist party headed by Thomas Jefferson. Today's Democrats claim their party can be traced to Jefferson and there are Jefferson/Jackson dinners all around the country in local Democratic Party organizations. Actually something called the Democratic-Republicans came from Jefferson's presidency. Today's Republican Party grew out of the Whigs. I don't think it is accurate to trace either party back to these earlier ones, as the complexity of our society and the issues we address are very different and the parties have changed their views as to what types of policies best address their core values.
