How do some people earn money with Google Adsense? Are there a very small percentage that are actually successful? When I visit a website I never click on the ads. How many of you click on ads when you visit websites?

As you say only a small percentage.
You have to have a really good site with lots of traffic in order that a small percentage of those visitors might click on some of your ads.
I rarely click on ads but occasionally something might interest me. So if you have thousands of visitors it's those few that click that you are after with Adsense.

Use google analytics first, if you are getting more than 100 hits a day, then you might consider google adsense too. I've got ads from google on my page for a year, and i didnt make a penny yet ! I've got no more than 4-5 visits a day. And i never click ads or any other unuseful stuff.

lots of people earn money w/ adsense there are some that makes thousands a month just from the clicks...but then again THEY have cool websites
