None. They still had manners then and would ask for help politely.

There was a great depression in 1929. Prior to that year, Western countries enjoyed post-war prosperity during most of 1920s.
1930s was mostly spent with economical reconstruction effort.

20's were good times...they had a lot of alcohol and parties and what not. They called it the "roaring twenties"..and then the 30's were really bad. They had the stock market crash in 1929. So basically the 20's were good and the 30's were terrible..just google it or something...u'll get a lot of info.
