can someone help me identify this guitar?

All i know is that it is a checkmate guitar. i got it from my grandma. it has a cherry color trim, with gold inside, and has a black looking patch with a gold monogram look inside it. All it says on it, is Checkmate. I cannot find any numbers other than a little tag on the inside that says G145. Any help would be appreciated! Also, what would it be worth? Thank you!

yep, its exactly what you said. the brand is called "Checkmate" and the model is 145. Its vintage and was made in japan.
