Generally, the best prices are found in the stores, first thing in the morning. Many stores open up at 5 in the morning as well. Stores will also have special products that they bring in just for that day--Walmart almost always has a tv or other hot electronic that they sell for a ridiculously low price--it's called a loss leader in the industry. They're hoping you'll come in the store for the super cheap item, but then buy other things (at retail) that will more than make up for the money they lose on the loss leader.
