This is so funny. I'm a funeral director, and I was just having this conversation with my wife a few days ago. She is of hispanic origin, and was getting ready to go to a funeral in a hispanic influenced dress. And I told her a good rule of thumb is......"If the garment has mirrors on it, you probably shouldn't wear it it a funeral".

there is no definite guidelines as to how you dress up for a funeral...other people consider funeral as moments of pain and mourning so they wear black or white...however, there are some who consider it as a celebration of life over death thus they make it more lively.......
