People say the fact that she is celebrity is why she got leniency however I tend to think that being a pretty white woman had alot of factor in it. If it has been a black male who was a celebrity that did it he would have been in jail like darryl strawberry was.

My white boyfriend got extradited 5 states, a month in jail, $5000.00 fine and 5 years felony probation for pawning a guitar he's stored in his garage for his guitar player for 9 years. He's broke, not black.

It has nothing to do with the fact that she is white. It is because she is a celebrity. I am white and if I got a DUI and had cocaine in my car, I would be in jail for a heck of a lot longer than 84 minutes, and that would be my first offense, EVER!!! And, if you haven't noticed, lately 'white' is becoming the minority...so, don't pull the race card!!!

You've got to be kidding me. It's the celebrity card. She can afford the best attorneys and the best hook ups.
She's also publicly seen as a tragic case in the media and this can put a bias in her favour in the courtroom.
