I didnt know that i was beingpulled over until i heard a police siren. I was charged an found guilty of eluding and given 10 days in jail. I am applying for a job but I was told that If I have a felony or misdemeanor that I wont get it.

It's at least a misdemeanor conviction almost everywhere.

While eluding can be a felony, your punishment of only ten days in jail would make me assume that this was a misdemeanor charge.

It can be charged as a felony or a misdemeanor. That you only got 10 days suggests you were only convicted of a misdemeanor.
