The primary motor cortex

The cerebellum is at the base of the cerebrum in the rear. It does NOT "control movement"; the primary motor cortex and the subcortical structures known as the basal ganglia and substantia nigra do.
The cerebellum moderates coordination. It also influences one's balance in conjunction with the vestibular system in the inner ear.
Something I find boggling; why is this question in the geography section?
