Yes you can cross your legs. You do want to ensure that your not leaving your legs crossed for long periods of time because of the lower blood circulation that does occur. I cross my lower legs constantly and have had no problems in either pregnancy. I couldn't cross my legs up higher towards the end.

So feel free to cross those legs just don't do it for long periods of time.

i really need the points here...lol. Okay, im single, but i hope to meet the girl of my dreams some day and start a family. okay, seeing as i've never been around pregnant women, although i did spend a considerable number of months inside one (once upon a blossoming time...) this is what i believe dear, is the answer to your question.

when you gain body mass, especialy around the buttocks, waist and LEGS...it becomes naturaly harder to 'cross the legs'. I've gotten a little 'porkier' down the years myself, and im a guy. No im not pregnant. Lot of 'crossing your legs' depends on natural flexibility. The rest is how fat you are. yes i said it, how fat you are. If you dont believe me just ask anybody who is quite over weight and they will accord to what im saying here. It really isn't rocket science and this question i bet you anything, really doesn't require another answer of any scientific magnitude to explain it. When you your legs get 'fat' , its WAY harder to cross em. Okay so now youre about tell me 'but my legs are fine' . well then im stumped. i thought women just got plump during pregnancy, right ? thats how it goes - like i said, aint rocket science darling. Extra body mass = harder to cross the legs. i REALLY hope this answers your question. peace out.

You can, but shouldn't. I hear that crossing your legs overall can lead to those disgusting vericose veins, and for some reason when you're pregnant the chances of it increases.

The primary reason why they don't want you to cross your legs is blood circulation and possible blood clots. This is especially a concern late in pregnancy.

I've never heard of this. I don't see why you couldn't as long as you aren't having any circulation problems. Just make sure you are comfortable and uncross them if your feet or legs fall asleep, become numb, or swell.

ah nooooooo, what a load of rot, can't cross your legs, thats one for the books, in general you probably shouldn't cross your legs because of the blood circulation (kinds cuts it a bit)
pregnant or not.

Crossing your legs could impede circulation in your legs and lead to varicose veins.
