The second round could be Rose vs Fiesta, Orange vs Sugar - at alternating sites. And the championship the week before the super bowl at one of those 4 sites.

You guys are missing the real "money" issue. Most the money goes to the top 6 BCS conferences.

If there is a playoff, there will be more money overall, but it will eventually spread out to the conferences a little more equally (though still favoring the BCS).

But the big six conferences might get just a little less money even though there is more money overall.

It will also allow recruits to feel better going anywhere, which will cause other non-BCS schools to be better and pretty soon the other teams will be dipping more an more into the money pile.

Likely never. There is too much money to be made the way the system is now and the Bowl Games are concerned that some will lose out.

This is business and the NCAA does not care about who is champion over who gets the most money out of the deal so we'll be stuck with the system we have now.

Regards,

Mark

Great idea but sadly probably never due to $$. Even if they could get agreement, they'd probably need 5-7 years to work through committed schedules so top teams did not end up playing 15 games per year

It'll never happen, too much money at stake. The #9 team will be complaining not fair, we'll just go through this crap every year.
