This Morning
Written By Semper Fi Reborn
This morning,
She didn't wait for me,
To come to the kitchen before she poured me a glass,
Of smiles.
Accompanied by a plate of her sexiness,
And toasted loveliness.
I couldn't eat another bite.
So this morning I whistled,
As I drove to work.
But I left my brain in park.
My heart was in four wheel drive.
I didn't want my heart to slide into the intersection,
And splatter anyone with my private joy.
That would have ruined this morning.
