Sounds great! Have you tried going to the website of the cruiseline? Usually they have all the information on what to pack, and it includes things like if there is already a hairdryer in the room, if your other electric items will work or need adapters, etc. It is probably all listed there to make it easy for you!

If it's a large enough ship, you should not have to worry about sea sickness. If it does happen, the usual remedy is Dramamine, but be forewarned that it will make you sleepy!

Have fun!

I've recently come back from my cruise, so here's a few things that I recommend that you take with you.

= Most important thing you should have is travel insurance. My wife got sick on the cruise and it would have cost thousands of dollars if we were not insured.

= Sea sickness tablets. You can't predict how your stomach will react. You can get them from your local chemist and they're not very expensive.

= You wont need cleaning products for the bathroom as the staff of the cruise will do that for you. It's like being in a motel.

= The one thing I didn't take and I thought I should have is an alarm clock. Although I could have got the staff to give me a wake up call.

= There should be washing facilities for your clothes on board. Check with the cruise operator if you're not sure.

= Make sure that you have more than enough money. You never know when you need it, and I wouldn't class a cruise as exactly cheap. They can be expensive, but they are a lot of fun and relaxing.

Enjoy =)

going on a cruise is one of the greatest experiences, you will not need any type of cleaning products as the cabins are fully serviced, they even make your bed for you and you probably wont need extension cords either as everything is supplied, bon voyage

Dramamine for motion sickness.

otherwise, it's just like a floating hotel. Take what you would for a normal hotel stay. If you need hairdryers and curling irons and stuff like that, take it with you. Other than that, if a hotel normally carries it, you should be fine. These ships most of the time have like an indoor mall within them as well. If you really need something, it will be on the ship.

usually on cruises you dont get sea sick because the giant boats don't rock too much... however i did get sea sick on a cruise once, and i took motrin and i was fine (you have to take it right away though)

they should have a few plugs in the bathroom and in the cabin... idk because all cruise ships differ a little

they should clean the bathrooms for you; they did that on mine

and idk why you would need an extension cord, but you can bring one if you want

You dont have to clean or bring extension cords there people who do that stuff for you. I got sea-sick bracelets... they were like 6 dollars and you just put them on your wrists and theres a pressure point that makes you not sea-sick they were awesome. just clothing and like shampoo and makeup remover and stuff like that.

Trousers with elasticated waistband - people usually eat too much on these cruises!
