I sent a document from another computer through hot mail and now when I try to open it, it comes funny looking

Question

It tells me to use codes to work on my computer but everything just comes out all giberish looking. We were alowed to work on our teachers account at school since ours wern't working for aproject and now I cant get the file. Why isnt it working and what should I do???

Okay please answer the above question AND also tell me what your prefer. Do you prefer the font Verdana or Tahoma more. PLease reply, thanks!

First answer may be correct. Example; I use Open Office. If, I type a document in open office and just save it, the file will have the extension; .odt some programs may not be able to read this file. So, normally, I will save as .txt or .doc as most programs can open this.

you have to check the extension of that doc and the font.. normally it works with all fonts..
did you use a different browser ?? It happened to me sometimes when people use another browser ..then I cannot read the mail 0_o
try to copy and paste the doc or send it as attach

check to make sure what type of document it is, and that the program your trying to open it with.. will read it. If not.. find a program that will...
