In theory yes, but in reality a high percentage of the voting age populace does not even register, let alone care enough to inform themselves about the candidates and/or issues. it may sound cold, but I personally would rather not see these people vote if they do not know and understand who and/or what they are voting for.

Everyone living in a democratic country should exercise the right to vote. It is one of the best ways to voice your opinion and have a government which represents the best interests of the citizens.

Yes, though once again find myself agreeing with Lover...
And there is always the freedom of choice to not choose issue.
In that it's bad enough the number of sheep we have who refuse to inform themselves.
Though my personal views with regard to my vote were changed by a Veteran whom I greatly respected, and I realized that to not vote... would be a disservice to all those who have served to ensure our right to do so.
For all those who have honorably served and are serving in our military,
Thank You, for your service to our country.
Those simple eight words, can bring a tear to people who have seen unimaginable things, while safeguarding us, so that we may sleep safely in our beds at night.

I vote every time. I just voted a dirty governor out of office and it felt really good. I wish every one would get off their butts and vote.

You'd think so. But then there are lazy or stupid people who don't vote, then they complain about the people in office.
They could have voted, and then maybe things would have been different.
