It depends. For example, a friend got me into wrestling last year. I had no idea why I did it, as I got home from school five hours later, tired, and numb everywhere. But we both did it. This year, he is swimming, and I'm suffering in practice. I think the moral of the story is that doing the harder things may make you better in the long run, but you have to excel at those just like you would easy things. If I don't practice hard and get an injury in a match, where my friend has easier practices and makes Varsity, who made the best decision? But if I do my best and don't give up, then I will probably be the wiser one. The decision is yours.

This person is in for a rude awakening. He is being foolish enough to affect his future. We all have choices to make to improve our lives, and choices do not mean being "carefree" and "just having a good time". We can be happy, and content by making decisions that will bring us happiness and contentment. Life will not just come to you. You have the unique way of making ones life better THOUGHT.
Change your thinking change your life. He had better do that soon or he will find his life is left behind and there is nothing left but being "carefree".

This person is being wise. Life is how you look at it. It is foolish to look at it as stressful and pressure-filled because that is what it will be to you. Look at it as carefree and enjoyable, and that's what it will be.

too wise! i am that person and it is the best way to be. dont ever let anything bother you. Its not worth your energy to be upset over something that may seem like a big problem because the truth is... it isnt a big problem. why worry over everything in our only life. dont spend your life stressed enjoy it :) in the end you will be happy compaired to the man who was a worrywort and dies of a heartattack

I think this is a situation to which this phrase applies: the grass is always greener on the other side.
I let things stress me out constantly, so I think it's much healthier to not have a care in the world. However, those who don't have a care, also must lack passion.

i guess it depends on the situation but, on the whole, i'd say he was very wise. look at how stressed out people have become and the problems that result from that stress. if he has the power within himself to let things slide, he should do it.

It`s his life, let him live it.I would worry more about yours instead of his.But if your really concerned talk to him about what you think, but do`nt pressure him.
