LMAO, so unbelievably true. I work fulltime, college fulltime and part time internship, I envy those people.

I think it's because EVERYONE ELSE will finally be home too! LOL
I work from home and frankly, while others say TGIF I say TGIM - Monday! That is when my peace and quiet starts and I can get to my work uninterrupted.
I do like the weekends because I don't get motivated enough during the week with the house empty to do all the chores I have to do, it all seems monumental on your own, so on weekends it's nice to have the kids, their friends and hubby around and they often chip in with a hand so it's all hunky-dory.
But who gets to stay home without working or schooling these days?? Must be collecting a good hefty paycheck otherwise to be doing that. If it's due to illness, that really sucks too. As a SAHM as well, I can say with complete confidence that a 24 hour day is not nearly enough to do all that one has to do, even with 4 or 5 hours sleep a night.

In my case, I retired early. During the week everyone is busy, busy, busy. So for me, the weekend is the time that family and friends are more available.
That is the reason why I don't have a job and I get happy when the weekend comes.

Good question....I don't know. My brother is 26, out of school (never went to college) and doesn't have a job yet he LOVES the weekends; I don't understand it either.
