I believe that God hears all prayers. If it is His will to answer your prayer in the way you ask, He will answer your prayer. However, He may not always answer your prayer as quickly as you hope. Sometimes either you or somebody else you are praying for has to experience a situation first to learn a lesson or to gain more spiritual awareness before your prayer can come true. So keep praying!

Prayer is a very special communication between the person praying and God. I have had many things happen in my life in which I have turned to God in prayer which sometimes he has not answered me the way I would like Him to. But, it is not what we want ,i:t is what God wants for us. There is a scripture in the bible that says "Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you". You can find it in Jeremiah 29:12. This tells me that when I pray God hears me and I trust in Him to answer my prayers to his will and not mine. When you pray keep in mind that your prayers not be selfish or unsincere but from your heart and not your head. God is a faithful God and He loves all that know Him and All that doesn't. Don't be in a rush to where you want your prayers answered right away and get discouraged when they are not being answed to your needs because, God is a miracle worker. He will not let you down. Keep in mind He hears your heart.

this is more of a religious question that a psychological question. Prayer has been studied before, but it is such a difficutl thing to study, because it involves the spiritual realm. Prayer also depends on beliefs and personal accounts.

I believe prayer works. I believe that one has to have faith in what they are praying for but they also have to be open to other options, and listening to God and what His will is. So often we get wrapped up in what we want instead of what God wants.

Prayer is talking to God, it doesn't have to be anything fancy or have thee's or thou's in it. Just talk to God like you would talk to your best friend.

Prayers do most definitely work.
They work best when you have a close relationship with God. How?
You must ask Jesus Christ to come into your life and cleanse you of all sin..then you can start on a spiritual journey that includes prayer . It's a wonderful life.

Prayers if came from the heart will be listen by God...but it is still up to God if He will grant it or not. He knows what's best for each & everyone of us. He has His own reasons why your prayers has not been granted. If you are a believer of God then what you need to do is to trust Him.

The Bible says that if you had the faith of a grain of mustard seed you could say unto a mountain be moved and it would obey you. Faith is what makes prayers work, Faith in Jesus Christ. Faith Cometh by hearing and hearing by the word of God, Romans 10:17. You have to believe.

You cant make them work but God can. they TRULEY work. i have had several prayers that came true within a week or so... although when i think about it majority of my prays have come true. its just a matter of time. for instance ever since i was 7 i have prayed that my brother will get out of drugs and want to help himself. i prayed that for twelve years. one day it happened and it was a miracle. it was the perfect time for it to happen and God always knew when the perfect time would be. You cant doubt him. it will happen eventually and it will happen for a reason. FAITH makes it work. true belief that Jesus Christ died on the cross to forgive your sins

"Delight yourself also in the LORD, and He shall give you the desires of your heart." - Psalm 37:4

The purpose of prayer is not to get God to do what you want Him to do; it is in order for you to align your will with God's will. If you delight in the Lord, the more your desires will become His desires, and then He will grant those desires. He loves us and always wants what's best for us, so if we don't get what we ask for, there's a very good reason why.

No. Praying is the same as talking to an imaginary friend, they might halp you gain a sense of hope that what you want will happen, but it doesn't

There is no way to make it work, imaginary things can not be turned into reality through belief or thought.

it's not a matter of
working
or making them work.

You need to have
faith,
and GOD
already has
great plans for you.

Whatever
you're praying for...
GOD will provide you
according to his
plan.

it's true that
sometimes
you don't always
get what
you
want..
but it is
because it was
meant to be that way.

just always remember
to have
faith in him,
and he already
has amazing plans for
you,
so there is no need
to worry.
