As long as the electoral college and two-party system is in place, candidates like Ron Paul (regardless of their qualifications or abilities) will not have a chance.
Politics now more than ever is about money. If Ron Paul raised the $200+ million W. Bush did, he'd have a good shot at the Presidency.
