I've only looked to any great extent into Kant's ethical theory, which despite some problems, I find a very compelling, if ultimately unconvincing, account. My only complaint with Kant, is that much of his work is notoriously difficult to understand, but that says nothing of the quality of his work, which from what understanding I do have, is first rate. I think he remains a heavy hitter in the philosophical world.

I love philosophy and I tried to read 'Critique of Pure Reason' but I just Kant. (I think that he's a good thinker but not a very good writer)

He has confused more people than any other philosopher, and misled more people. Kant led to Hegel; Hegel led to Marx. Marxism led to Communism and the murder of millions and the national "incarceration" of billions more.
