I hate it when people try to say it's bad just to want intercourse with a chic. There's nothing wrong with it. It's fine, yet all those prests and nun wackos are actually trying to say it bad and sinful when yet I know damn well it's not.

And let me tell you something else, those same wacko priests and nuns ALSO say it's bad to want riches and money. When you die and go to Heaven, you will have the very same same things that they say are bad just to want, and that doesn't make any sense and I know damn well that sex in Heaven will be possible as anything pleasurable that's happened on Earth can happen in Heaven.

YET, the pleaureable things that they say are bad ARE available in Heaven. Why wouldn't they be? There's nothing wrong with wanting sex and riches and mansions.

Megalomaniac has it right.

Desire is a root cause of unhappiness. There is no satisfaction to be found in chasing it; satisfy one appetite and another arises to take its place.

Pleasure is different from happiness. Pleasure is what we call certain kinds of body sensations. Happiness is a mental state. Pleasure does not lead to happiness, only temporary gratification and then more appetite, more thirst. You are on a treadmill with no end until you are interested in getting off.

It's not about priests and nuns. They chose their path. Bashing the robes gets you nothing. What kind of life do you want ?

It's worth thinking about.

Peace,

;-)

sorry..question.. have u died and gone to heaven? cause u sound like u have..but I really doubt it! I mean u obviously dont get the whole religious view of it...it is a sin when u do it before getting married but its not bad or a sin only by wanting and thinking about it, thats completely normal!

It is not the want of things that is bad.We are in the image of God.He does not want to be poor or always forgotten, and neither do we.It is only when we do the wrong things to get what we want or concentrate our lives only on those objectives.

Desire is the root of unhappiness. However, I do agree that its not appropriate for others to tell you what you should and shouldn't do (outside of illegal activities).

No one can make you guilty, unless you have allowed them to do so!
