Good gosh no! As a parent I feel like as long as you put forth all your effort & have done your best, then I am very proud. My daughters always pushed themselves much harder than I did. My motto for them, especially in high school was 'you passed' that was always enough for me but they always wanted to have "honor & star" roll. I was always proud of them but never pushed.
If you have done your best then You have done a damn fine job!!

that's not unfair, the two. existence is uncaring, independent, and has no direction. we are the end results of the interplay of the forces of the universe. we are order outfitted upon chaos. existence is random. some people unavoidably get the shaft, some people unavoidably get an undeserved ordinary existence. each and every toddler that's born is born greater or much less privelaged than yet another toddler someplace else, and by ability of no ability have they earned that place, good or undesirable. maximum folk, notwithstanding, get what they have worked for in maximum circumstances.

i don't think that is very bad...i would be dissapointed in myself tho...because i normally get all A's. When your parents have high expectations, it's best if you try to live up to them. If they had high expectations it normally means they know you can do it. Push yourself just a little harder. Your parents only want the best for you,

As a parent of two boys ( both grown and out of the house) I would have loved for them to bring home B's.
Is this common for you or do you usualy do better? You should talk to them and tell them that at least you tried!!!

No not if you did your best. Try talking to your parents. Tell them that you are doing you best. Tell them how you feel about their expectations. But if you can do better and you know it try harder.
