Yes they are funny to people in my generation, but I suspect kind of lame to the younger folk. Dave Chappelle would not have been tolerated back then, but I find him amusing today. Dean Martin was a good entertainer and singer, but not my favorite. He carried on with his drunken act too long, it got old. I tend to prefer Jackie Gleason as a TV show host and Nat King Cole as a singer.

I absolutely loved the Dean Martin roasts. They were the best. I dont think it will be anytime soon seeing tv like that again. :(

Dean was one of my all time favorites. His one hour show was the best. Favorite song: Everybody loves somebody, sometime. Thanx for a flash/back in time. lol.
