The best and the basic conversion is:
1dm=10^-1m
we can write 10^-1 as 10^1 * 10^-2
so,
1dm=10^1 * 10^-2m
as we know that centi=10^-2
So,
1dm=10^1cm
by thaking cube on both sides
1dm3=1000cm3
