need more info.What size engine,what kind of car,etc.More than likely you need 4.5 to 5 qts.

Depends on how much it leak and burn. Some with over 100,000 miles may use a quart a month, depending on maintenance. My Chevy Truck has over 100,000 miles and not use oil. But, when the oil bad dirty it use about 1 quart every month.
OK, just a joke. First answer more correct and that below me, if we talking oil change. Most V-8's are 5 quarts if you change the filter. Some V-6 and 4 cylinders may be less.
Most Auto Parts stores should be able to tell you (NOT Wal-Wort).

my old 1989 suburban took 5.2
but i had 2 add a quart every 2 weeks

Depends on how bad the rings and/or valve guides are, as well as how bad your leaks are.

I knew someone who had to add a quart about every 40 miles that they drove.

Probably 5, but look in your manual or the internet with the size of the engine.
