i have got an alba rdvd1001xi dvd recorder and a ouple of weeks it stopped working!!! i am slightly miffed as the warranty has run out and to top it off i have a dvd stuck in it!!
has anyone got any idea how to get the dvd out without throwing the machine outta the window!!!!!

Hello big siss cant you unscrew it somewhere to get your dvd out? Just an idea really! You know me it'd be in pieces by now lol!

Assuming you are going to scrap the machine to buy a better one (NOT from Argos or your local supermarket), the best thing to do is to remove the top of the player and dismantle the drive section inside until you can get the disc out.
