I have had it happen.
I personally have allotted it to the fact that I need to do some self reflection and look at who I am. Not in a negative or a positive way, but neutrally look at who I am today and change what I need to. Because things like this happen where it is almost as if you don't recognize yourself, I take it as a calling, something telling me that some things need to be done so personally I can recognize myself once again. That was always my explanation.

Yes. This happened to me twice and quite a few years apart from one another. The second time it happened I went to the doctor and had a complete physical and everything was in good order. To this day I still have no explanation as to what really occured but I look at it now as a really great experience.

I've had this happen to my a few times before, usually when I'm really tired and out socializing. It's like I must get so tired that my mind can't allow itself to function anymore, so it just goes on autopilot. It's a super weird feeling, but sometimes it a relief. To not be able to register temperature, to have a heightened sense of smell, etc. I don't know why this happens, but I'm never too concerned when it happens to me. As long as I get control over myself fairly soon afterward.

I've had this happen. It usually happens when I'm alone, sometimes you just get in a weird state of mind like that.
Also pure silence is freaky, it actually gives your mind a chance to think about something other than what is going on around you.

YES i get randomly so I WENT TO THE PHYCOLOGIST and she told me its normal to have but its called Depersonalization disorder -
periods of detachment from self or surrounding which may be experienced as "unreal" (lacking in control of or "outside of" self) while retaining awareness that this is only a feeling and not a reality.
its nothing to worry about but to prevent it try not being alone ... tv or music around you. for some reason when your in silence it can triger it. nothing known to cure it. your not weird. I FREAK OUT and get PANIC ATTACKS but ive learned how to control them. Best of Luck!

Congratulations! You have astro-traveled. What this means is that your spirit has left your body for an extended period of time. Although this is normal for dreams, what really means you're getting good is that it occurred when not asleep. You could be developing into a psychic. Let me just say, I envy you.

yes. Sometimes it feels or sounds like I'm talking from next to myself. Then there's a sort of dizzy out of balance out of place and time feeling. I've learned to enjoy it and not worry about it.

you may have had an out of body experience! i have heard of people who say it happens to them all of the time...but it is when u actually leaver ur own body! its not good to do it though...my dad has done it befores and says that whenever it happens dont go messing around...lay back inside your body...if u dont...u may have an unpleasant visitor occupying it while u are out of it...this may be partly how people become possessed.
