Hello. I am a concerned teenager. I am now 15 and 2 months. I weigh 90 pounds, and i am 5'0. I am worried because I haven't gotten my period... Any suggestions??

I am not anorexic. I do eat well and healthy. I dont eat junk food... i come home and eat freshly cooked food that my mom made. She also told me my auntie got it kinda late...And there are girls in my school SKINNIER than me that already got it!! Wats up with that?

Give your body time. I was over 17 when I first got mine. Don't stress over it right now. Just enjoy being a teenager.

Well, it seems like it's genetics. If say, your mother got hers late, this is probably why you haven't got it. You can see the doctor, and they will give you medicine, or a shot that will make you have a period. Stay healthy, too, because if you are underweight or missing calcuim, that could be the reason why it's a bit late.

Some girls don't start their periods til they are 16, but I would recommend letting your mom know what's going on so that she can help you to keep an eye on this and also let your doctor know when you see them for your next check up.

Well you are a little light. Girls are all different but periods can also be delayed from being too skinny.
