I know they hide the answerer's name and avatar when question is in voting, but I think it's still pretty easy to recognise one's own answer.

Anyways, unless I'm the only person who answered that question. I wouldn't vote for myself. It feels a bit wrong....but tempting....

I don't think so, as otherwise they would not allow for the option. Cheating would be having multiple accounts and using those accounts to boost your points < like answering your own question and then giving yourself B.A, or voting twice for your own answer using both accounts.> that's cheating. But voting once isn't.

I will admit that i sometimes do that, vote for my own answer that is, IF i really do feel that mine was the best, LOL, but most times, i will vote for the Best Answer, and if someone's answer is very good and/or funny, i will vote for them.

But i wouldn't worry on it, i think we ALL have voted for ouselves at least once, LOL. ♥

I have done it a couple of times but usually it is because mine really was the best answer all the others were yes, no answers and mine went into detail...I dont see it as cheating if you really believe yours is the best answer. I have also voted for other people because I thought their answer was funny

Definitely not. Suppose if there are referendum election and you are one of the appointed candidates. You have a privilege to vote for yourself and that has nothing with cheating. This situation also applies when you are voting your own answer.

I don't think it's cheating.
Buuut, whatever.
It doesn't really matter to me.
Sometimes I vote for my own answer but other times I see an answer I really like and if I see an answer like that, of course I'll vote for it! It's all a matter of which answer I think answers everything the asker asked. Lol.

it may be large if all askers chosen a desirable answer to their questions.regrettably notwithstanding it does not take place. This does bypass away it open for diverse debts and cheating. notwithstanding posting links to different purchasers is considered by ability of Yahoo to be a contravention. that's not impossible that Steven is cheating yet you could not coach it and it baffles me why everybody could opt for to.What harm do they actually do by ability of utilising diverse debts, the place do they spend the standards and what's the prize for being selection one.

It's very easy to find my answer, i can recognize my writing style at first glance. In fact, I always vote for myself and I don't think it will affect anything. people can vote for their answers too, and that means everyone got equal chance to vote for themselves.

Most of the time, i found everyone vote for themselves and eventually no one gets best answer. that's justice. i don't call it cheating.

I will vote for my own answer if I really feel that it's the best answer.

It probably is cheating. I don't think you would be able to vote for your own answer, in any case!

No, it's called strategy, although I do feel slightly guilty afterwards. If I think someone answered better than I did I vote for them.
