My boyfriends going away this weekend (yes only two nights) i missed him before he left. Of course Its not long and I don't mind but i'll still miss him. (but also enjoy doing my own thing)
BUT, it got me thinking about military wives and I really don't know how they can be so strong!!
Anyways, whats the longest time you've been away from your partner? Did it bother you?

Oh i don't mind going on holidays and being away from him......if someone asked me on a holiday i'd say hell yeah!! i'm going away in a few weeks ..... i'll miss him, but i dont think it's worth putting your life on hold just to spend 24/7 with someone.....specially seeing as hopefully we have the rest of our lives together.

5 days, I went on a trail ride in Colorado up in the mountains and it did bother me b/c there was no phones what so ever out there ( bad reception) so I couldn't talk to him at all until I got back
And Prayers out to all the Military Wives, Stay Strong Ladies!!

when i was firs dating him, my sister would invite me on vacations and i would say no way, i can't leave my honey, i will miss him too much..now being his fiancee and been with him for almost 5yrs now and having a 21 month old son with him, I also, have a 9 yr old daughter. I have no problem leaving him for a week. Absence makes the heart grow fonder!!

i missed him, but it didn't bother me.
my mother was a military wife. she endured it for 1 yr (twice) and 6 months (once) and a whole lot of 2 weeks.

almost 2 months when I went home to deal with family issues.
It sucked but we made it through it!
