There's this girl that I used to be friends with. Well we stopped talking for some unknown reason. At first she used to stare at me, but now she doesn't. Well I believe she's talking bad about me, but the thing is everytime she sees me her face and eyes just light up, but she tries to ignore me. Why would she do this?

She's proabably sounding like she's too cool for you and wants you to think that she doesnt need a friend like you anymore. As you said her whole face lit up when she saw and the only logical reason for that is that she's thinking, 'Oh look, here's my chance to ignore her and make myslef look cool!" I know it sounds completely ridicuolus but its proabably this reason.
You should tell her that you don't need to deal with this anymore and if theres something on her mind just tell you. If she just keeps acting like this then I would just forget about her. She shouldn't be treating you this way when you have done nothing wrong to her.

probably,and I can tell by how you wrote this that you kind of have an idea...she likes you for more than a friend and she is scared of what you will think of her.I'm sure she isn't talking bad about you.And I'm almost positive that you already know this.
