Turtles are considerably heavy, and eagles can get much better food from other places, even though there is good eating on turtles.

Poor little Om. At least he triumphed in the end. Yes, eagles pick up turtles in order to drop them again and smash them and eat the meaty bits out of the shell.

You can't trample infidels - or eagles - when you're a tortoise. All you can do is give them a meaningful look.

Yay for other Pratchett fans!

This isn't a reply, this is question. Are there any health benefits for eagles from eating turtles? I'm writing an essay about what eagles eat....

Eagles eat turtle meat by dropping them from great heights to crack open their shells.
