Yes, unless you meet the following regarding the 5th Amendment, which is..No person shall be held to answer for a capital, or otherwise infamous crime, unless on a presentment or indictment of a Grand Jury, except in cases arising in the land or naval forces, or in the Militia, when in actual service in time of War or public danger; nor shall any person be subject for the same offense to be twice put in jeopardy of life or limb; nor shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself, nor be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation.

yes thats what subpeonas is u can be jailed fine for not doing it. Some exceptions are priests,doctors,lawyers,spouses and u can't be forced to say something incriminating against urself consult attorney

Yes, unless there is some privilege, such as pleading the 5th (they cannot force you to incriminate yourself by your testimony) or if you are being asked to testify against your spouse.

Uh, yea. That's what a subpoena is. You are demanded to go to court and testify. It's not a choice. You can be charged with Contempt of Court if you refuse to go.

By definition, a subpoena is "a command to appear at a certain time and place to give testimony upon a certain matter." - so yes, if you are subpoenaed, you do have to testify.

Yes, i think you have to. but i think you can plead the fifth amendmant if you feel your testimony mind endanger your safety or your family's safety as well. it's a pretty thin line if i was you i would ask an attorney but if you feel your in danger then i think you can plead the fifth amendmant.
