I heard on the car radio today that the awful drought in Georgia is being eased by rain !!! Did you know that Georgia was in cricital need of rain? Did you know that many folks were praying for rain? I also heard that the Governor himself said the Georgians and himself needed to pray for rain. Do you think God heard those prayers? And that He sent the rain?

God did send the rain to Hall County. As a matter of fact it came a gully washer. We prayed for rain before the Governor and it definitely rained that day. Unfortunately it is not enough to end our water crisis. Out of control growth and poor planning got us into this shape. I hope the Governor will consider some resolve.

The 1-2 inches of rain received as a result of their prayers did not even affect water levels in the state. There was not enough rain to saturate the parched dirt. It was all soaked up before reaching the water reservoirs.
God is so mean to tease people like that. How could he hear their prayers and then torment them with just a taste of water but not quench their thirst.
Do you think he is that cruel, or maybe it was Satan that made it rain. Satan is really that mean. Maybe God never heard them pray at all, or doesn't have the power to make it rain. Man, I sure hope it wasn't God that did that, that was mean.

yes. i live in GA. you seriously don't know how hard it is. i don't pay much attention to natural disasters, but everything changed when it happened to me. I like 5 miles away from Lake Lanier and you could just see how much it's changed. It's not the same it was 2 years ago. We are a FOOT away from the historical record. No, there are no evacuations happening or anything. I couldn't imagine moving away after living here my whole life. I'm praying for more rain. I'm sure God will hear-and heard- our prayers. I believe he'll get us through this.

Yes, I also prayed. They really need that water. God is a wonderful provider.

This is also a good reminder that there are a lot of very thirsty people around the world. Thirsty for water, and also for the Word of God.

Jesus' new commandment was to love God with all our heart and our neighbors too. We are here to help each other out.

The rain didn't help. Wednesday night and Thursday morning saw a total of 1.09 inches of rain at Lake Lanier. Meanwhile, the level of the lake dropped another 5.18 inches those two days.

It's getting real bad, real fast.

Wow, i exchange into questioning "they are all redneck states." the reality that maximum folk of human beings have faith in equivalent rights is a undesirable argument. maximum folk of human beings as quickly as believed in slavery too. the typical public's in basic terms potential is to repeat the ideals they have been taught. human beings's comments are not properly truthfully worth the paper they are revealed on. If maximum folk helps something - something - it particularly is an outstanding indicator which you're able to desire to be against it. i'm greatly surprised that maximum folk think of the form already protects against gender discrimination. I knew it did no longer because freaking 2000 or something. Ignorant fcuks. yet gender and race are 2 particularly some issues. women have been meant to fulfill a various place in existence than adult males have been. it particularly is obtrusive from each and every ingredient of their biology and psychology, no count how plenty you desire to argue this is bigoted, previous formed, previous, despite. this is obtrusive interior the way almost all of girls behave, their priorities while finding out on a mate, their needs, even their actual bodies. you won't have the capacity to make a matching argument for race. So this is probable greater acceptable if we cling directly to the previous techniques, which make plenty greater experience than the prominent techniques. the prominent techniques have merely broken up the kinfolk and made present day women depressing and no longer able to attain happiness. All you people who pat yourselves on the decrease back for being "good little feminists" are merely hurting women.

God heard and answered. He is so wonderful to prove Himself to those that don't believe. Maybe someone will give their life to Jesus because of the miracle.

...and all the secularist say "what a great coincidence!" We are instructed to pray believing it to be so, so that it may be so. I am never surprised when God answers prayer.
