I am also 6 weeks prego and I am scared because I have to do it alone. I was with this guy for 6 months. We were okay. . . nothing serious. This was all unplanned. I already have two other kids to take care of. . .
So yeah, i am excited - but scared. . .
advice. . . enjoy your pregnancy! it is only 9 months and then you have the rest of your life to be a parent.

during ur pregnancy expect to have mixed motions where u dont want to have a baby cause ur scared and other times u cant wait this is normal also relax, and s;eep alot because the next several weeks might be filled with nausea and morning sicknessso u will be exhausted(not all women get this)...take ur vitamins when ur meant to and best after having some food and never never be afraid to call your doctor no matter how silly you think a question might be also
best get some baggy clothes or buy maternity stuff around10weeks incase u just bloom over night like my mum did and i did also when i was pregnant with my son
just also do as much walking or excerise u enjoy as u can, and avoid all heavy objects also read up on ur books or take class so u know how to deal with ur child when he or she arrives
best of luck

I was scared and happy too. I found that my hormones were making my emotions change rapidly. Between the morning sickness, all the changes that are going on with your body, and all the things you need to do to prepare for the baby it can be overwhelming.
I'd recommend resting whenever possible, and realizing that preparing for the baby isn't as overwhelming as it seems at first. Also, pregnancy pillows are a wonderful inventions, and be careful what books you read, some are just not helpful.

I'm 6 weeks, but I found out 2 weeks ago. We were trying and I still felt mixed emotions, because it's a huge and scary change. It just takes a bit to sink in--you'll come around. I'm still not letting myself get too excited b/c I've miscarried in the past. Each day it sinks in a little more! Congrats!

Congratulations. Have you scheduled your first prenatal visit? The main thing is to keep your body healthy(eating right foods, drinking LOTS of water). Babycenter.com is a great website. Also the book "What to expect when you're expecting" is very informative, especially if you're a first time mom. Make sure to take a prenatal vitamin daily. And, of course, enjoy this time. Good luck. :)

be ready for possble morning sickness.. If you get a cold or 2 make sure you ask your doctor for a list of stuff you can take. Their is alot of stuff you can take, but you need the list so you canbe sure of everything.
Your breast will hurt for awhile so you might want to try to take baths for the back pain as well. Have plenty of tums by your side for te heart burn. I have gotten heartburn from day one and it sux butt... lol
Drink lots of water and juice. Don't buy anything for the baby until you find ut what your having.
Everything else is just good luck and congrats on your baby!!

Congratulations! My advice is relax, sleep, relax and sleep some more...the next several weeks will probably be filled with tons of nausea and morning sickness and you're going to be exhausted...don't take your prenatal vitamin on and empty stomach and never never be afraid to call your doctor no matter how silly you think a question might be...that's what they are there for!!
God bless you and your little one!
