After feeding the birds for several months, I've relented in my attitude to the feral cats which poo on the lawn and taken over from my housemate in feeding them as well (if only to ensure a better class of poo!). They're still quite suspicious of me because I'm normally the one clapping my hands to scare them off the lawn, but I like to watch both birds and cats feeding when I get up in the (late) morning.

Realising that i've woken up in the middle of the night and i don't have to get up for a few hours!
Then when i actually do get up the kids make me smile when they try and wake themselves up!!

my 2 kittens Max and Martha...they come and greet me every morning by licking my face and scratching at my feet, they always make me smile in the mornings....who needs an alarm clock, they are spot on time every morning for theit feed
