The Beatles were the Rock and Roll band of the sixties from England, but other great 60's bands were the Rolling Stones, Aerosmith, The Mama's and the Papa's, Mountain (1 hit song called Mississippi Queen), Credence Clearwater Revival, and of course Elvis Presley was still around during the sixties even though he started in the fifties.
