No. The only choice is being honest and admitting a sexual attraction that already exists.
Scientific researchers who specialize in human sexuality have shown that homosexuality is linked to biology and genetics.
An October 2004 scientific research publication stated that scientists have found that women tend to have more children when they inherit the same genetic factors linked to homosexuality in men & that this fertility boost more than compensates for the lack of offspring fathered by gay men and keeps the “gay” genetic factors in circulation; a 2005 study reported genetic scans showing a clustering of the same genetic pattern among gay men on three chromosomes; a study published in Human Genetics in February 2006 found extreme differences in X chromosome inactivation in mothers of gay sons and mothers whose sons were not gay; and another 2006 scientific study found that a man's likelihood of being gay rises with the number of older biological brothers even if gay men were raised away from their biological families.

a debate that has been going on for ages... one side believes the we are born with our sexuality, while the other thinks that it's something that we choose later in life. Then there is some people who think that it's genetic or something... but that's an gray area I don' t want to touch....
let me ask you a question... did you choose to be straight? Did you growing up, decide at a young age in a long internal debate within your self, choose your sexual preference?
if you can answer that question then, you know the answer to your own question

No. Gays can only choose to take action based on who they are. Some people mention that heterosexuals don't choose to be so. I will ask something with a more obvious answer:
If you don't like a certain food, can you choose to like it, so that you will have no problem eating it?

No, I didn't choose to be gay. However, I am extremely comfortable being gay. I wonder how many "straight" people choose to be straight.

No its not a choice. I would never choose this life to live if i did have a choice. but since i dont have a choice i will continue to live in harmony, stand up for what i believe, and be gay.

No...not a decision if it was one i would gladly be gay though...heh.. opened up many doors and point of views that straight guys would NEVER see. Its just apart of you its like your height, you can't choose how tall or short you would be, or how big or small!

Roger "D"imwit proves the point... if you're gay you have no "choice" ... notice he didn't say you can choose to have sex with women... which means...you're innately gay... and he just doesn't like the fact... but if he removed his head from his @ss he'd realize nobody cares what he thinks...

No, I did NOT choose to be hated and beaten and thrown out of my parents house and shot and stabbed and evicted from apartments and lose jobs merely for loving someone of the same sex.
I was born this way.
Anyone who says differently has never been through it........
Thank you very much for being polite. It is appreciated!

Think about it this way. I'm assuming you are straight based on your question (I apologize if I am mistaken). When did you "decide" you liked people of the opposite sex? I think you'll find you can't remember.
