I heard it on TV early this morning, but can't seem to track it down on the Internet. If anyone has a site for it, please let me know. The anchors were laughing their heads off, and my only reaction is "more power to 'em" I wonder what gender (s) were involved, and what vitamins they were taking?

By "caught" I meant that perhaps a nurse or another patient saw them. Initially it was thought to be an assault, until it got straightened out ( so to speak) Their trysting place was a gazebo, which might be a bit cold this time of the year. I will check on FOX and MSNBC- I think it was one of those two nerworks. And I just hope that the 3 will not be banished from their "Garden of Earthly Delights", bless their little old hearts!

I'm all for them. I worked in a Nursing Home and with handicapped young adults. Their still people and have "feelings". I always stood up for them and looked the other way when they were having a "play date".

Yup. What everyone else said. But the good news is out there, just not written about so much. Personally I find a film about the wonders of nature cheers me up. Or just a walk in the sunshine. For the world is full of crazy thing and crazy people. And while it's not really good to ignore such things entirely, neither is it healthy to dwell on them all the time. I think life is about balance. About appreciating the good things in our life, while understanding others may not be as fortunate. Helping others in some small way, while not ignoring the needs of our families, friends and most importantly ourselves. Life IMO, is what we make it. If we fear to step out of our front doors, assume everyone is plotting against us, well, life will be hell. If we see that the world we live in is generally much better compared to even 100 years ago, acknowledge the things in our lives that we enjoy and give us pleasure, life can be heavenly. .

I am amazed that most of the answerers thought of this as a joke. I am sure the families of these residents do not appreciate all the news coverage on their parents. I am surprised the nursing home leaked such info. This is a privacy issue which nursing homes are obliged to maintain...by law.
As long as the parties involved are not in a common area and are willing participants, this is no ones business.

I don't know about the news article, but being "caught" is not a criminal offence, unless one of the other two involved were doing so against their will, or not mentally compitent to make the decision to have sex. There may be "House Rules" on relationships between clients in the Home, but nothing illegal about it.

Good for them!! Glad to hear there is still excitement after 60.

I cannot understand why you
people would think there's
anything unusual about this???
What's the difference if a
person is 25 or 95? If I can
find a 95 yr old dandy...I'm up
for it.

First I WISH I could have seen those anchors laughing!

And well, there you go, guess it answers a lot of questions from the young adults.

Third. I hope they had the door closed!

I hadn't heard anything about it. How fun to be them.
Could we post the name of the place just in case I need a nursing home later, might as well have fun too.

I only pray that I still function at 94 (or can afford the chemicals to make it happen)! Good for them!

I didn't hear that story but I did hear about an Alzheimer resident in a nursing home who was sitting in his room holding hands with his girlfriend. (I think she's a resident also) His wife walks in & sees these two but says she's okay with it because her husband doesn't recognize her anymore.

Have you tried the site for the network it was on? This usually brings results fast when I'm looking for something.
