Do you think that racism has anything to do with the shorter life expectancy for African American Men than White Men?

No.....it's black guys shooting black guys that's the problem.....white guys haven't got a thing to do with that. Around here it adds latino gangs to the mix. Read the crimes and the obits....whites aren't in there. They are killing each other off. Race isn't it.....seems money through drugs and power is at the core. Whites aren't even in there....neither are Asians. These "communities" need to address their own issues.

Yes. More black people are discriminated against, so they get lower paying jobs/worse condtions. Conditions can lower life expectancy, and not having as much money to spend on creature comforts also. Im not saying this happens to all, but this brings down the average life expectancy.

as far as what i have heard the stress of it is the only explanation...there has been research done. i think the stress is a significant factor. try to look at some of the research and see what you think after they have adjusted for all the other factors....
