Mike & Mike just reported. According to their information his playing career is over. He could be looking at major jail time.
Bonds failed a number of drug and steroid tests. Your thoughts.

The Associated Press is confirming this.

He could still play pending resolution of the case. MLB would have to suspend him. We'll have to see what Selig does.

The question is, did he lie? We don't know what questions he was asked. It should be noted that he wasn't indicted for use (where did the asker see that Bonds failed any tests at all?).

From now on, whenever I hear the words 'indicted for perjury and obstruction of justice' regarding someone who it seems the majority are out to get, I will first think of Scooter Libby, a man whose recollection was no more faulty than Tim Russert's, but was convicted while Russert is highly respected, because a lot of people didn't like his boss, the President.

Politics. Politics may very well be in play here as well. I'm not going to judge Bonds until I hear exactly what they have on him.

Not surprised. He won't serve major jail time however. He's just too rich.
