I borrowed a book from my english teachers and I acidently riped the cover off, I don't even know how it happened, I took the book out of my backpack this morning and the cover was missing and I couldn't find it either!! She has asked me about the book and I told her I would get it back to her as soon as I am done reading it... I think this teacher alredy dosen't like me because I am late every morning so what should I do?? Is it really worth buying a whole new book over?? Should I tell her after class, after school... How should I tell her?? Thanks!!

If the book was damaged while in your possession, you should purchase a new one.....

" I'm sorry, I damaged your book, so I am replacing it with a new one"

Give the book back with a cover on it. If this means buying a new one, do it. She will want to loan it to someone else. And get to her class on time!! By being late you tell her without words that she and her class are not worth your time. REALLY BAD! Insulting to her.

You have three choices. You can:

1) Be honest

OR

2) LIE

OR

3) Accept responsibility for the book and buy a new one without doing 1 or 2

Feel me?
