I just bought a free phone, over the internet from T Mobile. But, I purchased a lanyard with that order. The lanyard was not free. when i confirmed the order, It didn't say anything about how i was going to pay for the activation fee. When the phone is shipped to my house....will it have service? or do i go to a t mobile store to pay the activation fee? when will i know my bill is due?

Ok basically how it works is that the $35 activation fee will be billed on your first month bill which you will always receive in the mail. You can also check your bill online if you go to T-Mobile.com and click on the My-Tmobile. When you receive your phone it will be activated and you can check how much your bill will be through the phone also all you would have to do is press #225# and then talk like if you were calling this number. Once the call goes through you will receive a text message saying how much your bill is and when it will be due. If you have any troubles though best thing to do is go into a T-Mobile store and they will be happy to explain everything to you. Hope this helps!

call the customer service line and they should explain all to you.... when you get your phone you probably will have to call customer service to activate it...or you can go to a mall kiosk and they will set it all up for you! thats usually how it works!!!
good luck!!
